The M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering is awared on successful completion of 48 credits in 2 years.
Keeping in mind the breadth of the Civil Engineering domain, the programs are focused towards building analytical capabilities and project-based learning to enable students to understand and resolve a wide variety of practical problems.
No specific specialization is offered, instead, students are required to take six advanced courses in the thrust areas of the Civil Engineering department (Environmental, Geotechnical, Structural, Transportation, Water Resources, Urban Studies) and four specialized courses offered as electives in their particular area of interest.
Students entering the M.Tech. programme will be awarded their degree in Chemical Engineering on successful completion of 64 credits in 2 years.
Indicative Specializations: Process engineering and intensification, Bioenergy, Waste Water Treatment , Multiphase flows, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Microfluidics and Microreactors, Film formation in water based dispersions; Applications of Ionic Liquids in Chemical Industry, Reactive Separations.
The programs have been started to address the demands of the modern industry and aims to provide graduates with the knowledge of the actual state of the industry, its culture and the complex interactive management and operating systems.
Students entering the M.Tech. program will be awarded their degree in Mechanical Engineering on successful completion of 52 credits in 2 years with a specialization in Design and Manufacturing Engineering.
